Semiconductors & Supply Chains
Securing the Foundations of Innovation
Semiconductors are the backbone of the digital age. From autonomous vehicles to national defense systems, chip supply determines capability. Yet today’s supply chains are brittle and overconcentrated. The U.S. must invest in domestic chip manufacturing, deepen supply partnerships with allies, and diversify upstream inputs. Policy must also support workforce training, IP protection, and long-term industrial resilience.
Chips are the oil of the digital economy—strategic independence depends on them.
